At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me And now love, please listen to what I say I can't go on living life this way I've tried and I've tried to make you see You call this love? All this lying, my friends, it just can't be At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me And now love, please hold me Come closer, my dear It feels so good just having you near But who am I fooling when I know it's not real? I can't hide all this hurt and pain inside I feel At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me At last, I am free I can hardly see in front of me I can hardly see in front of me

Better Days 03:57
When your love has moved away You must face yourself and you must say, "I remember better days" Don't you cry 'cause she is gone She is only moving on Chasing mirrors through a haze Now that you know it's nowhere What's to stop you going home? All you gotta do is go there Then you really realize what's going down You went to a strange land, searching For a truth you felt was wrong That's when the heartache started Though you're where you want to be, You're not where you belong When your love has moved away, You must face yourself and you must say, "I remember better days" Don't you cry 'cause she is gone She is only moving on Chasing mirrors through a haze

Pinball 03:47
And I've run out of pale ale And I feel like I'm in jail And my music bores me once again And I've been on the pinball And I no longer know it all And they say that you never know when your insane Got fleas in the bedroom Got flies in the bathroom And the cat just finished off the bread So I walk over Soho And I read about Monroe And I wonder was she really what they say Got a call from a good friend, "Come on down for the weekend" Didn't know if I could spare the time Knew a woman who was crazy 'Bout a boy who was lazy But it didn't work out 'cause they just couldn't make it rhyme Hey Jude, you were alright I could've grooved with you all night But you turned your back on the party games, yeah Mama if I keep my head clean Will I really have a good dream? Or will I wake up in confusion just the same And I've run out of pale ale - And I've been on the Pinball And I feel like I'm in jail - And I no longer know it all Got fleas in the bedroom - So I walk over Soho Got flies in the bathroom - And I read about Monroe Got a call from a good friend - Knew a woman who was crazy "Come on down for the weekend" - 'Bout a boy who was lazy Hey Jude you were alright - Mama if I keep my head clean I could've grooved with you all night - Will I really have a good dream? And I've run out of pale ale - And I've run out of pale ale And I feel like a pinball - And I feel like a pinball - And I feel like a pinball

Southern nights Have you ever felt a southern night? Free as the breeze, Not to mention the trees Whistling tunes that you know and love so Southern skies Just as good even when you close your eyes I apologize To anyone who can truly say That they have found a better way Feels so good Feels so good it's frightning Wish I could Stop this world from fighting La di da da, etc. Southern skies Have you ever noticed southern skies? It's precious beauty lies Just beyond the eyes It goes rushing through your soul Like the stories told of old Old man He and his dog who walked the old land Every flower touched his cold hand As he slowly walked by The weeping willows would cry For joy Mysteries Like this and many others in the trees Blow in the night In the southern sky

about

The world sings, resonating from the beating of our steps on the earth, through the bodies and throats of living things, into the sky, dissipating and reflecting off distant bodies. Join me as I walk through the song of the world, and let me share with you some songs that have resonated with me along the way.

NOTE: This is a gapless album - each track is intended to flow seamlessly into the next, without any gaps of silence. Most streaming services and media players support this by default or can be configured to do so, but Bandcamp's web player will sometimes insert silence between tracks if it can't pre-cache the next track in time.

If you've bought the album (thank you!), try downloading the tracks and loading them in your media player of choice. Most modern media players (iTunes, VLC, etc.) will play the tracks back seamlessly. If your media player doesn't, don't fret! Included in your purchase is a high-quality render of the entire album as a single track, which guarantees that the full album will play through without any unsightly gaps.
